Privacy Policy
We're a developer tool company. We collect the data we need to run EAK, keep your account safe, and improve the product. Nothing more. This page tells you exactly what that means.
1. Information We Collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Account data — your name, email, company, and authentication credentials. Provided by you when you sign up or apply for early access.
- Usage data— API calls you make against EAK (GenAuth, GUMem, Web Agent), timestamps, error rates, and metadata required to bill, debug, and enforce limits. We do not log your prompts, agent memories, or end-user content beyond what's required to deliver the service.
- Technical data — IP addresses, browser type, and device identifiers, captured automatically to operate the service and detect abuse.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve EAK.
- To authenticate users, prevent abuse, and enforce rate limits and billing.
- To send you transactional notices (billing, security incidents, breaking SDK changes). You can't opt out of these — they keep your account safe.
- To send product updates and tips, only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Data Sharing
We don't sell your data. We share it only with:
- Subprocessors we use to operate the service (cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, error monitoring). Each is contractually bound to handle your data under terms at least as protective as ours.
- Legal authoritieswhen we're legally compelled to do so. We push back on overbroad requests.
- Acquirers in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — and only with continued protection of your data.
4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and measure aggregate product usage. You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings; essential cookies (auth, CSRF protection) are required for the service to function.
5. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
If you're in the EEA, UK, or California, you have rights to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct it if it's wrong.
- Delete it (subject to legal retention obligations).
- Port it to another service.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@eazo.ai. We respond within 30 days.
6. Data Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting, audit, and legal obligations. Usage logs are retained for up to 12 months unless we're legally required to keep them longer. Backups follow their own rotation schedule and may persist briefly after deletion.
7. Children
EAK is a developer tool and not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you're a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us data, contact us and we'll delete it.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by email and post a notice on this page before the changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
9. Contact
